POOL LEAGUE RULES

TEAM STATS:

League “Team Stats” must be dropped off in an AVS Dart Machine, which is closest to the played match for that night. A list of AVS Dart Machines closest to each location in the league, will be give to every captain. Any stats not put in drop spot maybe grounds for lost/forfeit games or matches

TEAM CAPTAINS:

The Team Captain will be responsible for the following:
1. Collecting nightly team fees from their team members.
2. Home team captain will collect the match dues from visiting team captain and also make sure the outside of the dues envelope has the date of the match and both team names in full. Both team captains will verify money and make sure the (1) envelope is inserted in the dues slot on the dart machine.
3. Team captains will be responsible for entering team lineup on the score sheets. This includes entering the players with the closest handicaps in each match. (see scoring for more info)
4. Team captains will try to settle any problem(s) that may come up during play. If the problem cannot be resolved, the team captains will call 846-5300 to have the league director paged.

DUES:

The Dues for the league is $15.00 per team per week, excluding a “bye” match. The dues will be used for shirts, trophies, and the banquet. Teams shooting with less than 5 players are still responsible for the team Dues in full. The team captain is responsible for the Dues and the league will not have any dealings with any other party in regard to Dues.

POOL LEAGUE SET UP

This pool league was set up for players who wish to learn about pool and pool leagues. It is a handicapped league. Our handicap system is set up to keep the teams even without handicapping the games.

TEAMS:

Each team is required to have 5 players per match. Any team may have up to 10 players on their roster. The teams are “open” to all. During the first three weeks of the season a team will be allowed to rotate four players if necessary to get the team started. No team is allowed to add any new players after the 3rd week of the season.

GAMES:

The Pool League plays on Monday, with a start time of 7:00 p.m.
There is a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals.

There are fifteen (15) games per match:

Each player plays in three games per match. All games are played in order and the order may not be changed for any reason. This will insure that all players are “warmed up” equally.

HANDICAPPING:

The number of balls dropped will determine handicapping.

SCORING:

Scoring is a four win system. Four wins are awarded per match. They are round #1, round #2, round #3 and total balls dropped plus the total of the handicaps.

PROTESTS:

1. All captains should attempt to clear up any problems or misunderstandings.
2. When any team captain calls for a ruling from the league director, it must be done immediately. Do not wait until the next day or your point will be moot.
3. Time stands still, the game stands still, and the match stands still whenever the league director is called.
4. Please, when you call the league director (846-5300) leave your name, your team name, the location you are at, and the phone number of the location you are at.
